I am interested in the way theory effects perception and how abstraction emerges from objectivity. The ideas are rooted in science and inspired by nature, in which tension and conflict are creative. In my work a unique form emerges within the composite of two objective forms. For example: the human figure seen through the surface geometry of fabric or paper; or a geodesic sphere altered towards a human skull. |
